If while Accessing PHPMyAdmin On the Linux Server With Plesk As The Control Panel You Encountered The Following Error

#1045 – Access denied for user ‘pma’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)
Can not load or save configuration Please create web server writable folder config in phpMyAdmin toplevel directory as described in documentation. Otherwise you will be only able to download or display it.

Please check the configuration of phpmyadin user in the file

Check The User Name and password used in the configurations. Genrally user should be ‘pma’

Access the mysql prompt and use the following queries

To go to mysql prompt use command

# mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow`

Now execute the following queries to define access to the pma user

mysql > GRANT USAGE ON mysql.* TO ‘pma’@’localhost’ IDENTIFIED BY ‘pmapass’;

mysql > GRANT SELECT (
Host, User, Select_priv, Insert_priv, Update_priv, Delete_priv,
Create_priv, Drop_priv, Reload_priv, Shutdown_priv, Process_priv,
File_priv, Grant_priv, References_priv, Index_priv, Alter_priv,
Show_db_priv, Super_priv, Create_tmp_table_priv, Lock_tables_priv,
Execute_priv, Repl_slave_priv, Repl_client_priv
) ON mysql.user TO ‘pma’@’localhost’;

mysql > GRANT SELECT ON mysql.db TO ‘pma’@’localhost’;

mysql > GRANT SELECT ON mysql.host TO ‘pma’@’localhost’;

mysql > GRANT SELECT (Host, Db, User, Table_name, Table_priv, Column_priv)
ON mysql.tables_priv TO ‘pma’@’localhost’;

mysql >GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE ON phpmyadmin.* TO ‘pma’@’localhost’;

You can check and use custome password in place of ‘pmapass’, in this case it has to be updated in configuration file
